My favorite SAK + MT combo.... For now.... Is being held up for almost a week at the USPS sorting facility that's so close that they could throw it out the window and I can catch it.

Remember... I'm the one that doesn't like Combos

A Mini works so well with other tools. :like:

My favorite combo (at the moment) is a Mini and a Champion. There isn’t much in my daily life that can’t be done with these two.

I just used them to temporarily fix mixer. Few things are more permanent than a temporary fix....

My Master Ranger is a Champion without the scaler and an inline awl in place of the small knife blade  It stays in my backpack should I need it  ;)

I will try and get a pic of it this week :tu:

Haven't had it out in a while, guess it is time ;)

I use to post pics of it all the time when I carried it :salute: You might scroll back a year or so in this thread but I am not sure if the tools were all out in pics here or not

Took me a bit of time :ahhh but I found the thread where I made the Master Ranger  This is the Link to get you to the post where I put it together :tu: The whole thread was about me figuring out what a perfect SAK would be for me :D I guess I figured out that it was great but the Executive is still the perfect one for me  ;)

This is the Link where I started taking the donor apart :tu:

Very cool!  That is a great mod!

Thanks buddy :hatsoff: I do really like it but it is a bit heavy in the pocket, plus the Charge knife I carry along with my Executive and a MT gives me just as much utility without as much weight :tu:

Of note though, it was purpose built to pair with my :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :D

My favorite combo since I received the Cobra xs pliers as a Valentine's Day gift.  The Vic is a Super Tinker.

That is a great combo Bryan. I keep a pair of the cobra pliers and the pliers wrench in my backpack.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

That is a great combo Bryan. I keep a pair of the cobra pliers and the pliers wrench in my backpack.

Thank you.  I've never really been interested in pliers-based multitools and only owned one, a PST that I received as a gift in 2000.  I almost pulled the trigger on a Juice S2, now discontinued.   Glad I didn't because I like the Super Tinker & Cobra XS pairing better for my needs.

The Knipex 4 and 5 inch Cobras seem to be taking the EDC world by storm because of their awesome plier performance, light weight  and how well they pair with SAK-type multitools.

Thanks

Bryan
