Unit 10 checking in again after extended absence. :salute:

My normal carry of bladeless 91mm with shiny new plus scales, Rambler, and the one that makes it a trifecta, heavily used Wenger Motorist which arrived yesterday. Was intended for mod fodder, now thinking of restoring. :salute:
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Two versions of my trifecta:

Spirit X butter blade + Waiter + Midnite Minichamp

Or

Spirit X butter blade + Explorer + Midnite Minichamp

So would you say the spirit and midnite minichamp are your EDC anchors?

My equivalent is Rambler, it tends to be always present despite whatever else I'm carrying.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

Yeah I’d say the MC is a staple paired with everything. The spirit is a MT anchor and needs the compliment of tweezers/toothpick. I used to EDC a rambler with the spirit but replaced it with the MC.

Thing is the manager/rambler are so tool dense I, more often than, not don’t need anything else than that for edc. If I go out walking or camping I’ll take huntsman/Ranger for the more robust tools and the woodsaw but a third I probably couldn’t justify in most scenarios!

It's ok to carry a duo... Believe it or not I duo most days! Rambler and 91mm mod.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Those i like the most: my trusty Swisstool BS with scissors (and normal pliers, modded by Victorinox), a 70s Bijou (my neckknife), and a 1939 Soldier 08.

Sturdy bunch! I like how you've covered so many time periods. :D

Unit 10 checking in.
Just happened to carry a trifecta today, a Swisschamp and... two executives.  I have an explanation, I swear! Was gonna see if there was anything in the workshop at university to sand the scales of the used executive, which I just acquired. :climber:
Ignore that I slightly less just acquired the new executive too, it's the second SAK I've ever bought brand new in a retail shop. Have had it for a few days.

Pretty funny DP. I have been guilty of carrying up to 5 SAKs when I just could not narrow it down, but never two identical ones!

The executive is great. Honestly the only thing it's missing is a bottle opener. Since they have been discontinued they are getting much harder to find.

I'll have to think about my Trifecta. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

The executive is great. Honestly the only thing it's missing is a bottle opener.

everything is a bottle opener, i use whats around me (screwdriver, ruler, table, back of a fixed blade, body of the Swisstool, beer crate, my brother uses his teath or eyesocket ffs) As a german beer enjoyer there are myriads of ways, even a leatherman works barely:P But i agree, the vic bottleopener is very nice, but mostly for the bit extension with a 1/4" square to hex nut adapter:P
