This Tinker came in today:  :mail:

First one of these I've seen in stainless or on an 84mm:

c.'78 +/-1 judging by the awl. Small 'V', anodized liners, sq. phillips w/ can key support/consistent with date range.

Nice one, Ray!  I have this same VSAK and love it.  Surprisingly, these aren't that hard to come by and prices for mint-in-box specimens are still pretty affordable.  I'm glad you got one while the getting is still good.   :)

I didn't know there are 3 versions of it.  I really like how the one on the right looks.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Then you might like the 4th version (that I know of) !

I'm thinking this one goes between my stainless one and the hot stamp on the right.

And I'm worried that there are more to find!!  :ahhh

This one is mint, just no box.  Glad to have found it, as I had seen it and passed over it getting other SAK’s. Think it was on the 3 visit there that I bought it.

Has anyone seen a Norfolk Western inlay? Victorinox I know made several (printed logo) Norfolk Southern knives, but I have never seen an N&W.

Yeah, I thought I really like the nickel silver one...but I think you're right. Looks stainless to me, and I'm hopeful there's a nickel silver version of that one too!

Can't say I've seen it, if it exists.

Found this Coke Spartan a few months ago to go with the 84mm copies:

Unused, but no box for this one. Missed out on a couple of 58mm ones after that.  :-[

The Coke logo goes so well with the SAK red

I remember...I have one boxed just like it and a user/needs repair copy in the same size.

And agreed - It's probably the best looking advertising inlay, IMO. It's one of the few logos that didn't need a lot of 'bridging' to make the one piece stamping. But that might just be my bias as a Coke drinker though.

One of my favorite EDCs is the Victorinox Ambassador with an inlay on the Swiss National Park logo.

But I also like the Climber model with the same inlaid logo (see the photo below):
