I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Day: 11

I'm still struggling with this particular can opener. I think the edges of the hook part of the opener are just a little rounded and it wants to slip off the rim of the can. It worked just fine, but definitely not as easily as some other Vic can openers on other SAKs that I've used.

(Image removed from quote.)

This got me curious, do you think you could resharpen the can opener?  :pok:

Day 11

First, I opened medicine with the pen blade. Then, did some detail work cutting rubber shelf liner to put in one of my SAK storage Plano boxes (it was just scrap leftover from lining kitchen drawers; I'll need to buy a good-sized roll of the stuff to do what I want); and I started work on the dog's crate with the cap lifter. Decided I'd use my Stanley Wonder Bar instead; it's an older USA model, and hard to destroy--it's been hammered on, stepped on, and who knows what over the years.

Found this piece of paracord in one of the SAK boxes. It came on some folder I bought a while back.

Nice photo!

Day 12

Even though most normal people (in my time zone) are probably still sleeping or drinking morning coffee, I haven’t gone to bed yet so how about a beer

It's all good I don't judge. I'm diabetic and take a lot of meds my advice enjoy while you can. I still get a beer every once in a while I'm not dead yet.

It is interesting how different the laws can be from one state to the next.  I remember at one point here, you couldn’t buy beer after a certain time at night, but you could still go out and drink it for a few hours.

No, Ray you can get anything you want to here.
Same here Sherry.  0200 is the cutoff for purchasing but no cutoff for drinking.

Day: 12

Used the small blade to open some mail and clip some string, but didn't get a snap at the time. So it's some kind of attempt at an art shot for me today. I have no idea why that rock was left on that stone coaster....I'm just going with it.....
