Is this a Handyman or Craftsman?
on: July 12, 2019, 05:28:29 PM
The seller didn't state what this is.  I can't tell if it has a corkscrew or Philips, I think that is the main difference between the two.
Any idea?  I'll probably have it by Tuesday next week.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I think it's a Craftsman, because on a Handyman the corkscrew would have been visible on that first photo.
No guarantees though :)

I won't hold ya to it Reinier.  But I do think you're on to something.  I tried to manipulate the photo to show that area better.

Definitely a Craftsman.  Holding one of mine,  I can see the back phillips just like that.

Surprised you'd buy something like that without being sure...I hope it was a very nice price!  :)

Looks like it's ~'88 to '90... v2 pliers and no hook.

The seller had 2 in box at $15 each plus shipping, so I figured it was a very nice price.

Agree.   :tu: I saw more than 5 layers, so I figured it was a good deal.  At first I thought they might be Champions, but was not disappointed to find out they were either Craftsmen or Handymen.

Thank you Vicman!  I loved the price.  The only little worry, is he only showed one of them in his ad, so I'll be a bit worried until both show up in as nice as condition as the one shown.

FB you must have a lot of patience to find all these bargains, I give up after a few pages, a lot of Vic stuff seems pricey or has many bidders or sellers photos & description are dodgy. Care to share any search tips?

Sometimes I just get lucky, many times I miss out on good deals.  I found that searching at different times of the day has paid off a time or two.   :tu:

You were all correct, it's a Craftsman.  Only one came, even though I paid for 2, so now it's a matter of getting a partial refund.
