I used the backside Philips today to fix my wife's outside planter.  The wind blew it off our deck, and I found one of the screws backed out.  I have a couple Tinkers, the Fieldmaster, Master Craftsman, and Craftsman.  I like having the Philips screwdrivers, even though they are sometimes limited by their position.  I guess I like having a corkscrew for my hiking knives.

Last night I ordered up a new set of yellow plus scales with all the goodies, mine are getting pretty loose. I’m going to keep your idea in mind though. Out of all the custom scales I’ve seen the Smokey’s are my fav.

My Fieldmaster has blade play which is unacceptable to me. It has been dropped a few times. Looks as if I’m getting a brand new one anyhow!
