What I know about carpentry isn't worth knowing, but I took it slow and steady and enjoyed every minute of it. Very therapeutic
I need to take much more care on the underside of the scales, I made life very difficult for myself with this one, by concentrating on the sides you can see. Somehow though, I managed to make the sides that need to fit flush against the knife not properly flat, and recovering them was a proper PITA. Lesson learned there though!
But I agree the mahogany does look classy doesn't it? Hopefully, the finish should wear pretty well too, I wanted it to be a user.
