I forgot to pack a dry bag and used a couple layers of zip lock bags instead.
It was just a shortish swim across the harbour but everything got wet.
Dismantled the next day to clean but the delicate contacts inside had already corroded through.

Salt water will corrode most metallic thing like there is no tomorrow.  Long time ago I was just having a little fun with my RC truggy on a beach, it didn't go anywhere near the water.  After a few runs, and it has already developed rust spots all over drive train and body parts...and it was within the hour. :twak: :ahhh

Did the customs declaration for the ST300/Rebar/Nespresso Pioneer package last Wednesday... The package has not moved an inch since and is still sitting in the customs post warehouse  :poh:
