Something has gone horribly wrong with my ability to post pictures.

Not only are they too large but they are double posted.

You're welcome.

We do have a lot of freedoms in this nation. Those freedoms are ensconced in our Constitution, unfortunately much to the chagrin of some other nation's citizens, who are not as fortunate.

This is a David Yellowhorse Buck 112 that celebrates our National Flag, which represents those freedoms.

My response was to Dunc's claim that automatics are not allowed in his country.

It was an appropriate response.

Then there's little point saying anything else about it, FWIW though it was inaccurate: automatic knives are illegal or heavily restricted at the state level in multiple states. YMMV greatly within the states as well, not just across international lines  :dunno:

We were up late last night watching an historic moment for the state of Virginia.

Marines Rock.  Hooraaah!

David is the ultimate craftsman.he was trained in the Navajo art of making jewelry. He transferred his skills to modifying knives.I've been very fortunate in collecting several of his Buck 112's.I also have examples of his two sons work.

Here is another from David.

I calmed down in wanting more knives and multitools.
But...........
I saw a Buck 110 at a gun shop. It was old stock and cheap.
So I bought it.
I later bought the 112 as well.
I like them very much.

Due to import costs they are expensive here, but worth it. They last and keep their edge.
I would recommend them anytime.
Regards
Johan

Congratulations Jors.

The Buck lock-back design is dated but it has withstood the test of time.It still competes in a market that is inundated with newer designs but they have not surpassed the strength Buck's back-lock.

This is another Buck 112 created by David Yellowhorse's son Brian.

I have a friend from South Africa that is working on a farm in the USA. He has gifted me a Buck 112 with a belt pouch. Cannot wait for him to get back in about 4 weeks time.

Thank you Nate and Steve.

This is a Buck 112 Ranger. It's interesting because of the following facts:

1. It has a N/S frame.
2. It has Corian handles.
3. It was made in 1995.
4. It was only sold in Germany.

This is a Buck 119 Special that had a broken tip, when I traded for it. I decided to regrind the blade and mirror polished it.

I also modified the hilt, handle and butt cap.

I then found a Buck sheath that fit it fairly well.

PS:  I think I'll be full until tomorrow at dinner time.LOL

Thanks guys.

Here is an interesting 110 that I found on the Buck website several years ago.

It commemorates Al Buck, oldest son of the originator of Buck knives,Hoyt Buck.
