Gold...

. Gold plating the Rebar is an interesting choice by Texas Toolcrafters. I mean it's a mid level LM workhorse. Normally only the charges get this sort of treatment. But it looks great though

Yet again, an amazing collection! I'm generally not a big fan of gold, but the Micra and Rebar look great in gold.

What do you get when Leatherman sends out a cheaper no frills tool...yes, you guessed it...you get the Bolster, Bond, and Curl.

All of these tools have some similarities. They all feature non locking tools. This is great for those parts of the world where locks makes them illegal. They also are all lower end copies of some of their more popular models.

The Bolster was an exclusive and is based on the Wingman/Sidekick/Rev models. The Bond is very close to the Rebar. Last but not least, the Curl is based off of a Wave. The fact that Leatherman offers a pocket clip as an extra option for the Bond and Curl is a bit painful.

The Rev and Wingman could be added to that list. I see a resemblance, however slight, between them and the Bolster.

Do you think that would fit in the leg pocket of a pair of cargo/tactical pants? I bought a Condor Sidekick for that use, and it proved too big for that.

I am thinking about getting one instead of the way I have things now--the big stuff (and a few smaller items like my PocketWrench II and bit kit) in a MOLLE XL on my belt, the small stuff in my right front pocket. I usually keep a light and a small pen-size tire gauge clipped to the elastic as well, as I'm always afraid I may rip one apart if it hangs on something.

I do not know how big those pockets you are talking about are. However, the Leatherman pouch does look smaller than that Condor Sidekick.
