Ok...now received a notification that I should be receiving the Charge + forest camo, and the red G10 by or on September 8th.

Ships from British Columbia...which makes sense seeing that Oregon is in the Western part of the US...but that means no 3 days shipping for me. Time will tell...sent by Purolator.

What exactly is a Squirt S4 Knifeless? The MTO encyclopedia doesn't mention them at all, and from what I'm seeing of yours they all have knife blades; and "KNIFELESS" is marked out on all of them.

And the "Maker" series?

All of those in that photograph are factory errors in labeling. For a time, Leatherman would sell them for a discount at their factory store. They are a bit hard to get as they were only sold at their official factory store in Oregon, and in limited numbers I would wager, but are great additions to a collection. I posted another example in this thread...the Skeletool CX mislabeled as a Freestyle CX.

The Maker movement is explained here better than I could explain it. Think robotics, computer hacking, arts & crafts, and electronics...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maker_culture

One of the leaders in this DIY movement is a magazine called "Make:".

For a time, you could buy Leatherman tools off their website, with cute little messages on them. I bought everyone I could find. It would appear they no longer do this as I just visited the magazine's website to see what they are now up to.

The humble little Leatherman PS and CS.

P = pliers
c = scissors

The little Skeletool is what I think whenever I see a PS or CS. I am sure I do not have every colour...as most of my coloured ones are with scissors. What I really find interesting, is that for a time, you could buy them nestled in a Hail or a Jam. You had several options there. You could buy a PS or CS separately and get a Hail or Jam and insert the model you wanted...or you could buy them as a set, which always came with the PS as far as I know.

A closer look at my Leatherman Tool Adapters. I have 4. 2 are of the older version designed mostly for the PST, PST II, and SideClip. I also have 2 which are the newer universal tool adapter that fits more Leathermans. 2 are found in the usual hard plastic case that you can clip to your belt. I also have the leather sheath that fits the hard plastic case which makes accessing the whole kit a lot easier. The sheath is designed to fit a PST or PST II with the adapter and the bit holder. That sheath has 3 compartments, a place for each piece. On the left, is another setup that comes in a leather sheath. Here, the whole adapter and bits come in a removable cartridge.

IMG_9150A by Chako, on Flickr

Last but not least, 2 Leatherman advertising pieces. The first is a set of sew on patches.

IMG_9151A by Chako, on Flickr

and in my mind, the most annoying advertisement campaign ever...The Bro! There was a set of 4 sealed card packs making the rounds when the Sidekick was first released into the wild. I got a set and a few extras with the idea that I would open one pack to see what was inside.

Newest additions.

Leatherman Free P2.

I thought the P2 would be shorter than the P4. They are identical other than the P4 has an extra layer.

Made a little room for the rest of the family.

Also, a Leatherman KB, and a KBX.

Looking at Leatherman Canada, these are the tools listed on their web site that I do not have as of yet. This is quite the list.

1. Black & Silver Skeletool
2. Coyote Skeletool
3. Black & Silver Wave +
4. Charge + G10 Orange
5. Free T4 in 6 colours
6. Charge +
7. Black & Silver Signal
8. Free T2
9. Knifeless Rebar
10. Super Tool 300M in 2 colours
11. Coyote Rebar
12. Wave + in 2 colours
13. Signal in 7 colours
14. Black & Silver Surge
15. Topo Signal.

Should have soon a G10 in red, and a forest camo Charge + arriving.

Not sure how deep in the rabbit hole I will be going down this time...as in, should I try to get all of the different colour variations? Time will tell. So far, I have recently got a P4, a P2, a lime green Skeletool, a KB, and 3 KBX knives for the collection. It is a good start. Time to start adding to the collection once again when I can. From what I can see...there are two families to focus on...the Black & Silver, and the Coyote brown ones. That Topo Signal looks good as well. I did not know of the 300M series either. High time I get the knifeless Rebar...seeing that I EDCed a knifeless Fuse for quite a few years. Or should I focus on the Charges first? So many directions.

Thanks Sos24.

I took a closer look at my Charge collection and noted that my most recent date code is 2013. So...7 years since I have added any newer models. I could not find any date codes on these Charge pluses.

They are not a top down view anymore, they are printed on the side of the handle now and you will probably have to get a flashlight to see the datecodes :salute: bit harder to find than the datecodes on older tools but once you know where to look it isn't so bad

I know the Surge and the Wave + models are like this as well :salute:

The Rebar still doesn't have datecodes as far as I know  ST300 are still in the same spot and the Skeletool may actually have dates on them now  I am not exactly sure about that though, so someone with a new one could answer that better :salute:
