Feel free to use the following thread as a scratchpad to work out the details.  Meanwhile, I need to do some research on Wenger throwbacks.

:tu: thanks EB

I realised after posting that I should have started the thread in the Knights page rather than here so will ask mods to move it (thank you mods, sorry for that)

Kevin (or any kindly Mod) --

Can we pencil in a commemorative Chuck Yeager Challenge for October 2021?

General Yeager was an advocate for the mighty Victorinox Executive. He just passed away and we would be remiss not to run a CYC in 2021 to honor his life and honorary Swiss Army Knighthood!

Everyone -- The Executive is a weird, quirky, and wonderfully useful Victorinox. It is being discontinued (coincidence?). Do get one now. And I hope to see you in the Chuck Yeager Challenge next year!   :tu:

You want me to move the CYC to December?   :dunno:

In another thread, Barry suggested December 2021.

Hi Nix, I’d suggested a Delemont challenge for October (please see posts above) however doesn’t have to be, it was just the first free month from what I could see. Really I should’ve started in the SAK forum :twak: and am hoping the mods will move it there.
I’d be keen to do the CYC too :tu:

Kevin --

It seems that there is more support for a Chuck Yeager Challenge (CYC) in December.  Please ignore my previous request for October and kindly add the CYC for December 2021. I'll start a CYC challenge thread in January 2021!  :tu:

Thought it’d be nice to be able to get out a few old Wengers or some new VIC Delemonts for some use. It’s quite easy to forget just how many great models there were/are as I think more people carry 91/93mm models.

I’m very keen on my Evo’s and Ranger and have never really used the Everest so want to give them a proper go…old soldiers too

Oh, then sweet! I'll probably take part in that then. I'm not sure what the model was (nor do I want to look it up for tact) but my girlfriend got me an Evowood model a few years back for Christmas. Blade, nail cleaning file, saw and scissors with baby serrations? Rocked that bad boy on my belt for over two years  :tu:

if any members are thinking of hosting a challenge but cannot decide on one, count me in for:
-Off-brand
-SuperTool
-MiniTool
-Juice
-MP400
-Alox
-Knife-based MT

There's tons of tools with challenges, and others which could easily have a dedicated one as well. We've got some months to fill. :D

On the Sunrise theme which I use it's at the bottom. On Shelflife theme which most use it's right above the report to moderator which is right above the badges.
