You’re not suppose to do something to where you need.
I do like the 5th pocket in a pair of jeans.  :tu:
I wish they included it on all pants and shorts.
Day 3

Those who did the minimal SAK challenge may remember my “weekly office visit with SAK in window“ shots…so guess what
:pok:

And today’s only use so far

(Image removed from quote.)

That is a view
Day 2

Used the pen at a store to sign an invoice. No pic from the store though. Somehow I thought that would be weird  :D
(Image removed from quote.)

Minor plumbing repair. File smoothed the cutting edge.
(Image removed from quote.)

Lunch time. The opinel cut two pieces off of the sausage sticks, so i could share with the dogs  :D

I bet they were happy

Day 2
The Spirit has helped me open a package and peel an orange today both using the crate opener/chisel/scraper combo tool.  I absolutely love the Spirit’s combo tool, it is such a usefully designed tool.  It would be awesome if it could be put on 91 or 93mm SAKs possibly in place of the small blade or awl.
(Image removed from quote.)

It is very handy that  :iagree:

Day 3

Still in love with the Bailout, lovely knife and so handy.  Cutting everything practically with it all the time.  And I really do like the Nurse Organizer somewhat, so easy to pull things in and out.  Just index the knife and it slides right back in where it belongs.

Also been using the IMCO lighter on and off, mostly at night in place of a flashlight just for fun factor.  The IMCO has literally no windproof, so even a moderate fan speed could easily blow it off.  The flint compartment is also very easily opened, so the flint stone may spring out if you are not careful.  But a pretty interesting lighter by its own right.

It looks a nice lighter! Is it a screw closure for the flint spring? If so have you considered throwing some blue thread locker on it to secure it?

Everything is going good till now, had to use pencil and diary couple times, lighter for a smoke

Though about including superglue as my edc but will do it after December (for obvious reasons lol) :)

Good uses!  :tu:

Don‘t forget to post a photo and add the day to your posts. That makes it easier for the mods to track the progress and assign the badges after the challenge is completed

I'll be on the road later today so I figured I'd better sneak in a picture before I get too busy. I really like this pairing of the Leatherman Sidekick and Victorinox Mountaineer.  I miss the combo tool in the Spirit and the magnifying glass in the Swiss Champ though.

Thanks for the interest, the mechanism is different from a Zippo and it has a hinged cover for replacing the flint.  To be honest, though I got this one from Germany, and I tried to ensure it's an authentic one to the best of my ability, I still have a doubt whether it was real or it was manufactured in China by IMCO before it closed its door back in 2012.

What's real cool about this light, besides it's famous as being the predecessor to Zippo, is the adjustment.  The wick/gas compartment could be completely pulled out like a 'match', the height of flame is adjustable by hand, and replacing/refueling needs no tool.  However, in terms of durability and being a fidget 'gadget', I think Zippo is one up on this.

A rather boring day of admin and driving so not much MT use. The ipod and drink bottle the 2 most used,
Day 4 will be better I promise.

I used the Shuffle to open a new mask (2020 life)...

And the Pentel mechanical pencil to take some notes. (This one is an Japan made)

My mom gave me my first Pentel in 95. I still have it

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
