Excellent posts your all  :like:

... yes... you too Surge   :D :tu:

Day 08
I've used the Spirits pliers to adjust a radiator valve and the Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 to... well... light up the scene  :P

No complains, worked all well  :tu:
I get the feeling that I might not use the other EDC items in my bag much if I do not have to drive into town before christmas
Cheers... (I think  )
You have my sympathy for the drive into town  :mn:

I only have to walk down a set of stairs (maybe that's not a good thing  :dunno:  )
They don't like it up 'em!

Well... there's a downside to living in the country side as well. The next pub might not be in walking distance for example  :dunno:

EDC 08:

It has been a bit warm here lately (6ºC today), so Mrs Nix suggested a picnic. We headed over to the local reservoir to enjoy some time by the water (in years past, I might have gone ice-fishing at this time.).

Water level is low!

Adventure Boy didn't mind at awl.....

We kept him on a leash so he would not disturb the numerous ducks and geese in the area.

Used the 58mm to open a package of Adventure Boy's "Hardtack".

Really nice day for a picnic. In addition to ducks, geese, and shore birds, we saw a couple herds of deer and a big herd of Pronghorn antelope. Also saw a Bald Eagle, Ravens, and Magpies (eating a dead deer).

Adventure Boy was well satisfied with the outing, not the least for his hardtack and a bit of my ham sandwich.   ;)

Day 8

Pioneer helped out in the kitchen. Yes it is an easy open package, but those things never work for me. Cutting is much easier  :D

I didn‘t cut the peppers with the SAK, but I figured it makes a rather nice color theme

Later in the day used the tools to clean the vacuum robot

Day 8
Had the usual tasks of cutting an apple with the Yeoman and opening/breaking down a box with the Spirit, the Spirit got called on for some faucet repair.  The HDS flashlight had to help for part of it by lighting under the sink and inspecting.

It has been requested of me by Mrs Geared  :twak:

That I tell you how utterly handsome Adventure Boy is and how "he could be in advertising, he could totally sell outdoorsy stuff to people"  :salute:

Adventure Boy says the same thing. And he let's it be known that he will work for peanuts. Literally.
