I am prepared to tell you where I found this beauty on two conditions:
1) Leave 100 million Euros (cash) in a small envelope on the Charles Bridge in Prague by midday today
2) Find an effective vaccine for the coronavirus by tea-time.

Only when these conditions have been met will I provide the following address:  https://www.schweizermesser-shop.de/victorinox-pioneer-x-alox-orange-se

What!? Is Vic opening up the range of alox colors for third party order runs?

Sadly they don’t ship to the US anymore. Means I can’t get one.

Most Alox SAKs in "special" colors you see are red or black, which isn't really unique as they are the standard cellidor colors.   Orange looks great!  70EUR, though.

I also saw this rather nice green color which appears to be a different shade than most green Alox.

They don't?!   Perhaps a Europe-based MTo member could organize a group buy?  I'd be in for one, or two...

I can do that, unless a German member steps in (shipping to Germany is cheaper or even free).

Maybe, haven't tried it, but they only mention free shipping for Germany.

Seems you're right.
I'm probably wrong. I know Schweizer-messer Oberhausen does free international shipping above €100.

No question I would be in for one or two if there was a possibility of shipping to the US.  I’ve spoken to Axel and it’s just too difficult for him to ship to the US under current circumstances.  I ordered from him over the summer and it took close to three months and and significant effort to ensure it got to me.  I understand his desire to avoid issues.

I don’t lie to myself like that!

But this is an awesome reason to go back on any such resolution.

I’d buy one, even though I haven’t fallen for PXs. Mostly because of that Orange.

It would look sweet carving a pumpkin for Halloween. You could sent it to me if you don’t carve pumpkins...

Orange goes fast

A few weeks ago, there was a BTI (German tool store comparable to Bugnard) Harvester for sale on the Oberhausen store.
Orange!

Only one in stock... Those were sweaty minutes while placing my order

The same one has popped on and off the site a few times in very limited numbers and they always sell fast.

Once it arrived, I knew why...

And the other Schweizer messer fella has some turquoise Farmer Xes which I suppose are also pretty special. Only they are branded GBT, whatever that means.
I wonder what the story is behind these branded beauties. Did some companies order a pile of them and then change their minds? In any case I'd prefer them without the branding. 79 euros is getting kind of pricy! (The price of the turquoise Farmer X)
Edit - a google search leads me to think GBT = German Bakery Technology. If you need 50,000 donuts every morning these are your go-to guys...
