Hello grom Montenegro
on: November 08, 2020, 12:16:20 PM
I like hunting, hiking, outdoor activitis. And like watches.
First I will show my folder kniwes.
Fist is vintage Eka Swede 60. Not in perfect condition because black coating, but I love it because it’s a legacy from the 70s.

The blade is carbon and the handle is made of green bakelite.

Next is Victorinox. That is folder that I used olmost every day, very light and practical knife.
The steel of the blade is not top quality but the making and finishing of the knife is at a high Swiss level. Recommendation.

Slowly Marko, it will be Latherman's turn, it is currently in the car. I like to use my knives, so I found a function for Lederhman, it stands in my car and has a multitool function. And the car is an Outdoor SUV, so the Latherman fits it well as a companion. But I'll take a picture of him too.
Next folder is allready presented Fallkniven PC, made from new cobalt laminate steel, hardness is 60HRC. Factory comes very sharp, passed the test with one hair.
For me  Sweden Fallkniven is one of the best brands that makes knives.
PC is accompanied by Sweden Firestell.

Mora Outdoor 2000
This is a cheap and ordinary knife, what makes it interesting?
Well, it's not ordinary, the knife is phenomenal!
I have about 30 hunting knives and I use this one 90% of the time! It is made of the famous Swedish Sandwick steel, hardness around 58HTC. It's not too much, but it is stainless steel that is very easy to sharpen. In fact, this is the only knife I know how to sharpen very sharply. I have to take the rest to the knife master.
Another remarkable feature is the shape of the blade. It consists of 3 different surfaces, I have not looked at other knives similarly. That's why it cuts well. This knife is actually a cutter, not for rough jobs like e.g. batoning.
The third good thing is the practical plastic casing. At first I was skeptical about plastic, it looks cheap. But it is safe, it has a leather belt loop, and most importantly - great for starting a fire. When you blow into it, compressed air comes out through these 2 holes.
All in all, the best Mora knife, if I chose just one that I could have, I would choose it.

Vintage Latherman
In very good condition, without gaps or loose.
The leather covers are in good condition as well.
The last picture also shows a number that shows the date of production, I forgot how it is determined, can you help?

Marttiini Big Lynx, made in Finland.
Traditional scandy knife.
From Marttiini site:
"A man-sized knife made in honour of the 110th anniversary of the birth of our founder Janne Marttiini.
The fair sized handle formed from curly birch fits well in a larger hand. The blade is of stainless chrome steel."

And now Norwey. One of the best, Helle GT!
Amazing, beautifull. Someone say- "Helle GT have big fault- too beautifull for hard outdoor usage!"

3 laminated sandwich steel, inner layer hardened to 60Hrc
