 Finders keepers!! I lovemine.  I have 2, and one has inhabited my uniform pocket for years.  With this thread, now I'm thinking about picking up a couple more
(Image removed from quote.)

These are my last two of four that I've had. (I don't count the fifth one that Mrs Nix 'gifted' herself after finding it in my trouser's pocket in a pre-washing machine flight check.).

There are times when I think about giving the black one a good soak in paint stripper......but then I remember that I may still decide to go to Ninja school, where, I'm sure, a black pen is required for awl classroom work. So, until a career in Ninja'ing is completely ruled out, I'm leaving it black.

A black bullet could find a double use with me.
It can come to ninja school; and also wear a classy brass bullet cap that I have laying around, for when I'm infiltrating ballroom events disguised as James Bond. :hatsoff:

Chrome is a king of nothing, IMHO. :D

Hah! Look at that!
It was empty!

So someone took the refill and put the empty one in instead...

You know, I hear the Chinese just use pencil.. Writes in space, rain, probably under water too..

Endorsed by John Wick.

Nice play on the old "the US developed a million dollar Space Pen so we could write in zero gravity vs. Soviet cosmonauts solve the problem more simply with a pencil" line. Credit!

The black "military" Cap-O-Matic is the cheapest; and I've been tempted to strip it and polish the brass. I have 3 (maybe 4? now) thanks to me forgetting to cancel a subscription order I did, figuring I'd lose it the day I got it. Yet, I did not.

Do you think the black "military" Cap-O-Matic is made of brass completely? I didn't know  :tu:

The barrel and clicky cap are brass, the internal clicky mechanism inside the clicky cap is plastic.

I think the more expensive models (0-gravity, AG7) have all-metal mechanisms.
But I'm happy with my cap-o-matic that has a plastic jewel on the end. :D

Did someone say patina'd raw brass Fisher Space Pen? Why wouldn't you say something shorter and faster for me to type

I've had this guy for 3 years and it has lived in a leather organiser of some sort it's entire life, currently in my wallet I recently rubbed off the blue/green residue patina off with a paper towel, it wasn't pleasant to handle:

A gradient of patina, you can still see the natural shine by where the refill sticks out  :like:
