93mm Alox with Phiilips - options and questions
on: December 12, 2020, 04:10:36 AM
Hi All,

l have asked a few related question over time but now l am actually ready as l have got my screw pivots sorted.

Basically l want to end up with the following;
1) awl and knife layer
2) scissors layer
3) phillips and large driver plus modified can opener (modified to be a small screw driver)

An in-line  small screwdriver with some reach like a technician screwdriver is a must have for me.

l have seen this mod and l think l know how to get there but deep down the modified can opener will always look a bit homemade. I know there was a proper in-line small technician screwdriver that was once available but l will never find one.

So the other option l'm thinking about and need opinions on is;
 1) and 2) as above
and then go
3) Phillips plus large large screwdriver paired with a modified awl that becomes a small screwdriver

l think l can fashion a better looking small screwdriver from the awl but l'm not sure if it will work on the double opener backsprings. l have also thought that the larger screwdriver could be made into a small screwdriver but the nail nick will be on the wrong side.

ls there any other options?

Also does the Farmer X help in providing some option on the backspring possibilities?
