Mechanickal is right.I don't find the Cap Crimper being of much hindrance though.Having said that I'll add some examples of what Steve means....
Victorinox uses a very shiny BO coating which isn't much different in the sun as there SS versions.
The normal plier head version was made for the Dutch army.A few members ordered the new XBS when it was released and got a normal pliers head too.Nowadays, they seem to be completely discontinued. However, there's always the possibility of asking a Dutch member to find and send you one.

Does that include the new one-hand opening model, MXBS (which I noticed has normal pliers, but is unfortunately missing the saw)?
The black oxide is definitely shiny, which gives it a look I appreciate. But is the reflection potentially blinding (as is the standard Victorinox steel)?
It definitively is not reflecting as much light as the bare polished stainless steel ones.
I guess my pictures above did not help much.It definitively is not reflecting as much light as the bare polished stainless steel ones.I can try and make a picture comparison with the normal Spirit, BO Spirit and a BO Wave of you like EDIT:I've added two pictures for you. Both taken with the same exposure settings.1st pic: BO Spirit vs SS Spirit2nd pic: BO Spirit vs BO WaveI've chosen an angle that would reflect the led light running through the middle of the tools to show the differences in reflection
