Strange Wenger Ranger 120mm

Hi, I recently bought this "strange" knife for my collection. It's a Wenger Ranger (old 120mm serie), but the knife has the serrated blade of the New Ranger. And the scale color is not the Advantage Wetlands camo design, but the Realtree Hardwoods camouflage. The Wenger logo is printed (no inlay). Any thoughts are welcome...

I have no idea. But I like it. I didn't even know that blade fits the 120mm frame.

They probably were using parts left at the factory, like the did for the Ranger 38-36
