SOG “Eddie Bauer” Paratool
on: May 07, 2021, 07:21:15 AM
Hey... Jay here with a Paratool question, Did SOG ever produce an Eddie Bauer Paratool?  Background: I recently purchased a Paratool that came with a sharp looking leather pouch with the EB signature on it. The price was very great, the condition was excellent, and it came with the original box and paperwork. I studied the tool, box and paperwork hard - no sign of it being an EB model anywhere :  (   Next, I searched the web looking for another model somewhere else - nothing. The EB Multitools have the logo in clear view. Hence, I’m left to believe this EB pouch was for something else and there isn’t a Paratool EB version. Anyone have something to add that could be helpful?

Can't say for sure but I've never seen a Paratool with a logo. That's a nice sheath though and I suppose it's possible EB sold these   :dunno:

I'm a Paratool fan: comfortable to use, fun to fidget with, and I like the ability to angle the pliers a bit. I've never seen an Eddie Bauer edition before. Very cool, guys!   :2tu:

I don't have an Eddie Bauer marked Paratool, but I do have one that was marketed & labelled by Penn International.  It has highly polished SS handles (but not TiNi like some other Penn MTs).  Penn also did relabels of CrossGrips and PPPs.

I do have some Gerber Multi-Pliers with thick leather sheaths embossed with "Eddie Bauer".

Very interesting... Did you purchase the Paratool with the EB pouch from a retailer? The part that makes me believe there was an EB Paratool is that it fits perfectly into the leather pouch. However, without a SOG box that’s marked or an advertisement, this may just be a coincidence,
