Yes, the postage is an issue everywhere, but I figured it would be cheaper for something not going international.

The Surprise Box GAW is a very nice, generous, creative and gentle act!
A good example of the MT.o way.
Congrats to all who joined.

I can't talk about the costs in UK.
But here in Brazil, the cost to post something overseas is high.
But the major problem is to receive anything. The taxes are absurd (90% in some cases). And the great delay in the customs.

Hope the Surprise Box keep going and make mor people happy!

So, am I sending this somewhere? Splitting up the contents to send in separate packages, either as a surprise or showing what I've got? Keeping them back for GAWs? Sending something at random to the previous people who took part in this before?* Keeping the lot and making a large donation to forum operational funds or get a Charter Membership in lieu?** I'm just throwing random smurf ideas out there in case this really has fallen flat.

It needs re-packing and boxing, but that won't take too long, and it's taking up space at the moment, so someone help me shift it on...

I think you should seal up whatever is left in the box and send it to anyone on that side of the Atlantic whose address you already have.  Let whoever it is enjoy a nice surprise (and get it the smurf out of your house).  Just be sure the next recipient knows it is the Pay it Forward box and they are supposed to move it along.  At least this way there will be continued progress instead of this long term stall we are currently experiencing.

Sorry, it's been a busy few days so I've not been able to check back in on the thread. Alan's is a cracking idea, the problem being I've only got GF's address as it stands. I doubt he'd appreciate the whole lot just being sent back to him. :rofl:

So... Life has kinda got in the way over the last few months. Aside from the Soldier On! Challenge I haven't really been on here lately. With that in mind, I'm giving this one last bump. If no one wants to jump in on it as it is, then I'll attempt some sort of "Great British Giveaway", to butcher an over-used naming pattern. :whistle:

Start a new thread with pictures of a Fish Scaler in use Start a thread with photos of at least twelve different colored ALOX models in your collection Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Bladeless Multitool for 30 days Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Leatherman Skeletool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Only for the 14th year Anniversary Challenge. Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month.
