I tend to instinctively use my main/large blade on my SAKs.
I keep it simple: Big Job-Big Blade, Small Job-Small Blade.
I think the small blade is one of the very few things I've not ever used on most of my SAKs, along with the fish scaler...
Even when you need to do some "precision" stuff ? Sometimes I feel it's better to have a shorter blade for smaller tasks, it feels more accurate.
