Leatherman Pump
on: August 13, 2021, 10:37:32 PM
Today I received my new to me leatherman pump. It was nib and the sheath has the date 05/13.
I see that there's no group for the pump so figured I start one. Does anyone have information on the pump including production time-line.

Chako had this list over in a post in the Production Timeline thread

Brewzer 2012 - Present
Mako Ti 2012 - Present
Piranha 2012 - 2013
Piranha 2 2014 - Present
Hail 2013 - Present
Hail+Style PS 2013 - Present
Rime 2013 - Present
Cam 2013 - Present
Pump 2013 - Present
Rail 2013 - Present
Jam 2013 - Present
Jam+Style PS 2013 - Present
Grind 2013 - Present
Shooter 2013 - Present
Thruster 2013 - Present

At least it gives you a date that they started :salute: and it appears you have an early one :woohoo: I think some of these are discontinued now but this post was from 2019 ;)

I think a lot of those are now discontinued. Now if only Leatherman would answer my email questions.

According to the leatherman website the pump is discontinued. If I go by the date on the sheath then its cool having a first production year of the pump.

The only pocket tools listed on the US Leatherman website are:

Cam
Carabiner accessory
Brewzer
Clean Contact Carabiner (I really need one of these)
Shooter
Rim
Hail

I can assume all others are now discontinued. On the Canadian Leatherman website, there are no pocket tools listed other than the Carabiner accessory.

The punch appears to be the same/similar to the one on the MUT - but there is nowhere to mount it on the Pump?

They are the same... with the same screw thread. The disassembly pins are indeed identical.

For it to fit on the MUT, you would either have to remove the Pin or C4 Spike already found on the MUT.

Good catch on the Pump (shotguns) jcintra91, now you might need the Cam (archery) and the Rail (AR platform) next?  :pok:

I've actually been thinking about getting the rail and cam to have the set

I bought a bunch of those pocket tools right before they got discontinued. Nifty little things. I carry a brewzer wherever I go, including on my work keychain.
