                                                 Day 6

The bathroom sink had gritty action on the faucet so I took it apart to see what's up. Thought it would be a fun thing to do with the Rebar, but it only helped remove the cap. The rest of the work needed dedicated tools. Couldn't really see anything wrong but taking it apart and putting it back together seemed to do the trick  :D

I'm digging that adjustable wrench.   :like:

Great pics, everyone!  I especially love all of the coyote tan Rebars that made an appearance today.  :tu:

Day 6

I've been glued to my computer for 12 hours straight, so today's pic is a rush job.  I have a little Christmas village in my home office, and Mr. Rebar is admiring the lights.

Day 7

December 7

Clearing clutter from last month’s deliveries. All it takes is a properly placed 1mm cut and the clear tape gets cut all the way thru without using the blade.

Oh, I like it too. And unlike most stuff that were made there - it’s actually good  :D
I’ve had it for about 16-17 years now, not really sure how it ended up with me. But it was a part of my go-to kit ever since.

Day 7

Don't mind this interloper  :ahhh

The many nice Rebars, some modded, are bringing out the worst in me...

This is a yin and yang pair. The top one is a heavily modified 'Rebar VX' featuring scissors, small and large bit driver, diamond file and a Wave pocket clip and the other one has received the Free series' pocket clip as its only mod (apart from the implement swap with the BO handled one, that is).

Otherwise, as you were :salute:

                                    Day 7

A light bulb went bust so I satisfied my curiosity. Those are really not made to be repaired. The small flat head and the awl helped to pry it open. Found a capacitor that literally exploded and detached it's self from the board  :o Never seen such thing, even on picture.
Later I took apart a cheap led flashlight that was turning off at the slightest taping on it. Turned out that a spring that pushes the battery cluster towards has weakened with time so I used Rebar's pliers to stretch it a bit. Worked great. No picture though as the baby was trying to snatch the tool or the pieces of the flashlight and see if they taste any good  :gimme:

Day 7

Had no real need for the Rebar most the day. So, I decided to use it at my last service call as if I did not have any other tools.

Installed this GFCI outlet for a bidet:

I am completely unsurprised by what you found. When a low price electronic device fails, most of the time the cause for the failure is due to a cheap capacitor.

Day 7

Light duty work for the Knifeless today: opening a fine point, dry erase marker pack for work, and hangin' out during the afternoon coffee break.

A note to say congrats to all challengers, as the uses and pictures I've seen are great! Thank you to all those participating, and allowing me to be a part of it.  :tu:

When I first looked at your pic, I thought the computer display was your office window... For a brief moment, I was very jealous of your view!  Haha

Day 7

Posting my day early.  I have used the blade a couple times, and I am still somewhat happy with the magnet on my suspension clip.  I used a dot of hot glue to stick it on, and it seems very secure.  If I lose it, I have like 100 more tiny magnets just like it.

Yeah, not the prettiest solution, but it works.  Just a slight tilt of the tool will make the magnet jump into position.

Day 8

December 8

Used the Rebar to help take apart a cheap MT…..for academic reasons. It wasn’t an exact science and had to use brute force trying to remove something. At the end, I was more or less successful at taking it apart. Good thing it was for spare parts only.
