Anyone into puzzles?
on: January 16, 2022, 07:16:34 PM
I did, when I was young.
I got this one for Christmas and it was very nice to finish it as a family.
I hung it before the entrance to my den.

The Mrs and I used to be into puzzles but kinda fell out if it, I must say if she saw that one she’d be demanding to get back into it again! Cause not only is that nice but she loves butterflies!

We usually get a few puzzles done during January.
Sadly this years puzzles are still sitting under the couch as we've worked through the holiday period.

Here is one from the 2020 holiday.

That's a nice looking puzzle, kkokkolis! My fiancée is talking about getting into it, but she hasn't found the right motive yet. We were just browsing for it yesterday.
Love the 2020 photos, Zoidberg! :like:

Very nice!

I have always appreciated the relaxation of doing a good puzzle.  I haven't done one in a while, largely because Megan has a cat that will destroy the pieces after walking all over them, given even the slightest opportunity.

I remember doing them as a kid and liked it a lot. The biggest we had growing up is my sister's 500 piece Royal Wedding (Diana and Charles) and have made that over and over again to the point I recognized the pieces right away.

Having a kid now I am back at it again, yay! Started with the 24-48 piece puzzles with her and up to 100-250 piece puzzles now. She always has to put in the last piece and hides one so she does not miss it :) Hoping someday we can get to the 1000+ pieces to challenge ourselves but right now both of us don't have the patience.

Kudos to all of you on completing your puzzles!

I climbed the mountain in the puzzle two years ago. Here are a few posts and pics from back then.

Flying into Palmerston North on Friday, Mount Taranaki in the distance.

Went and climbed it on Sunday, a couple friendly Canadians kept me company.
