If you are a person who feels one of the best things about a Swiss Army knife is the scissors and wouldn’t want to go without them, then this is the “challenge” for you.

I say “challenge”, but it is really 30 days meant to showcase how awesome the SAK scissors are regardless of which model they are on.

Bring your Classic or Climber or Fieldmaster or Pioneer X or Outrider or SwissCard or Mod; as long as it has a pair of scissors, it is welcome.

The rules are basic:
- Carry a Swiss Army knife or knives with scissors on it everyday day for 30 days.  You can carry one or as many models as you want.  You can swap models throughout if you want during the challenge.
- Post picture(s) each day of the chosen SAK(s), preferably using the scissors, but can be any picture from the day.
- In your daily post, try to keep track of how many times you use your SAKs’ scissors.  Example: 2 scissor uses today, total 22 uses.

Who wants to join me?

I'm Soldiering on during the month of March, but I'll be checking In here as well. Should be a neat challenge.

I must say it's a awesome idea.
I really love the Vic scissors. It's one of the best scissors that I've used.

I'll be on the 90 days Soldier challenge. I'll miss my SAK's with scissors for sure.

SAK stands for Scissors and Knife!  SAK scissors are the best tool on a SAK.  I may actually give this challenge a try.  Climber and Pioneer X are my EDCs so it shouldn't be to hard to grab a few pics.

Great idea Sos!
I had no idea how useful scissors would be all those years that I carried the Camper.  In hindsight, a Huntsman would have been my pick (Camper with scissors).
I'm going to join in on this one!
I'll start a list.

Hmm, are we limited to only carrying scissor SAKs, or do we just need to include them and use the scissors where appropriate?

As long as you have at least one pair of SAK scissors, you can carry anything else needed or wanted.

It is easy to underestimate the usefulness of the scissors until you start using them.  Sure a knife could do many of the tasks, but the scissors just do them so well.

Officially this is my first challenge so I may not make the cut

Two great SAKs.  A Climber was my first introduction to the scissors and the Pioneer X is one of my favorites, which I often carry.

Oh then DONE, my normal carry incorporates at least one SAK with scissors anyway!

I am a maybe for this challenge. I like the idea, but I may decide that I need a break from challenges after completing the Mini Tool Challenge in February.

Can we double-dip on challenges? I'll already be carrying a SAK with scissors for the Challenge of Champions in March.
Current SAKs: Explorer, SwissChamp, Handyman (modded), Climber, Super Tinker, Tinker, Woodsman (modded), Electrician, Pioneer, SwissTool, Executive, Ambassador, Champion Plus
Current Leatherman tools: PST, Original Wave, Wave, Wave+, Blast, Bond, Curl, Style PS, Micra

Double-dipping is not allowed for challenges as far as awarding of badges, but not for participation.  So if you want to participate and post in both challenges that would be perfectly acceptable.  However, if they both end up having badges (this one doesn’t have enough participants yet), then you would only be eligible to receive one and have to decide which badge to apply for.

So you are Running with Scissors?

I wish I could join, but I am doing the 90 Day Soldier Challenge. I did the bladeless month challenge, and scissors carried me to the finish line.
Good luck, I shall see you on the other side. And I may try to earn the badge, should there be one.

Other than the blade and cap lifter I would say the scissors are a third in importance for me. I generally carry anything Vic wise daily, so this should be a challenge I can complete.

Sign me up for the challenge please.

I am carrying different SAKs with scissors every single day, no exceprions, for last 38 years, since 1984. I started with Climber, then I have Swiss Champ, Swiss Champ XL, and recently custom made knives with 5 to 8 layers, some in 91 mm frame, some in 93 mm frame, but always with scissors. I think scissors are most used tool. They are excellent.

I haven’t been carrying for as long, but since discovering the SAKs scissors, I’ve always wanted them in my pocket.

Are you interested in participating?
