(Image removed from quote.)

Got myself a treat today. Spirit helped free it from its plastic prison.  :D

Day 17

Very nice! I gotta get me a bigout one of these days   man it's a beautiful day today, you wouldn't know we were under tornado warning just yesterday

Day 17, Option 1, call maintenance? Options 2, use your tool to pry open jammed drawer on coffee maker? Which do you think I decided? 🤔

Black and blue is a nice theme, but wouldn’t a black Spirit go even better? Lol

It would, but the stainless steel version works as well. The Bugout I got yesterday and the Vic Classic have stainless steel elements as well, so it works quite well. I guess it is a Black/Blue/Silver(Stainless) theme  :D
Gotta take a  picture with all tools that I can rotate with these colors.

I had the mini bugout before, but gotta say that I like the large version much better. Much better grip with all fingers  :tu:

DAY 16 (catch up)

A bit of a domestic emergency for a friend yesterday and I was asked to help. Her husband was called away but had promised their kids (and friends) a BBQ.

So, in the 'Spirit' of friendship, some burgers, hotdogs, chicken things  :dunno: peppers & chillies were incinerated to perfection (probably )

Unfortunately, they live in the ar*e end of nowhere, with little or no signal (hence the late post, sorry  :D)

DAY 17
Today Mrs Surge and I celebrated 25 years of happiness being together  :pok: :twak:

I took her to a very old school restaurant* in a rather posh part of the big smoke (think 70's - 80's throwback) with impeccable service and HUGE portions

As is awlways the case here in the UK going tooled up is not an option  ::) Therefore, here's a glamour shot of the Spirit hanging out with her prized Rhododendron in some welcome sunshine earlier today  :tu:

Day 17/30. Scissors today. Delivery of a new shirt and some biltong snack opening

The biltong looks good!!!

I may have to do the same for today. No doubt the Spirit will be able to carve the festering carcass...

Day 18/31

G'Day,

Today was busy for the Spirit. Cutting duties and one pliers duty - no pic of that, I was on the train without my camera.

Food stuff started with the usual morning fruit salad and then on to some biltong for lunch. Last was milky white Tim Tam chocolate biscuits for evening tea. Love the white Tim Tams, I put them in the freezer for a bit and they go nice and crunchy!!!

Cheers, Pete

One of the pot lids sometimes retains water when in the dish washer. Used the large screwdriver to remove the top and drain the water.
