Done some poking around and make some picks. I will say that the last few people who have had the box have been very generous. There's a much better good stuff to filler ratio (granted which is which is in the eye of the beholder to a degree). Anyone looking for some new gear for the new year?

Here's my loot (with the Classic from the Classic challenge).

1. My stepdaughter wanted the mini Paraframe since her sister has a full size one.
2. And the Escort, since she likes small knives for small hands.
3. My wife was looking for a headlamp for crafting, so that worked out great.
4. And I took the Marbles GI Jack. This has been on my "nice, but not bothering to buy it" list for a while. Sometimes it's nice to just carry something basic.

Two things I forgot earlier:

1. If you had the box in the past, both the quality and variety of items has increased substantially since I last had it in the spring. Plenty of brand name (even some discontinued stuff from brands gone by) stuff, and even a few semi-custom jobs.

The box will hopefully be in the mail on Monday, but I got a lucky break while I was packing it up today. The band on my CA-53 cracked. I wanted to upgrade it to a fabric/NATO band, but the one I bought didn't fit. I was packing up the box today to send out, and found a band. It was a little thinner, so I gave it a shot. Took a little wriggling, but it's on. Thanks box! I dropped the other one in (spoilers, I guess).

I have that one also. At some point, I'll probably get around to grabbing all the current databanks. Alright I made my selections.  I'm a sucker for gear organizers.  Thank you to whomever put these in the box.  I've been curious about similar organizers so seeing these was an easy choice.  As you can see I've already added gear.  The TOPO bag will house one and the other will be tested in pocket.
