There is instant coffee, and then there is instant coffee.   IMHO, Davidoff is pretty high up on my scale.

Day 12.

Been stitching up my daughters jacket pocket which was torn because of all the stuff she gathers and puts it in there.

Scissors and pliers came in handy.

They are useful little buggers.
Indeed they are!

Davidoff is pretty high up on my scale.
Davidoff is in the coffee business? I liked their cigarettes...their pipe tobacco, not so much.

Day 12

The CT-41 finally came out because I needed the micro driver to tighten my glasses.  Everyone says how great it is that you can carry the eyeglass driver in the corkscrew but nobody ever seems to mention how you're supposed to see the tiny, little screws without your glasses on.

Used the Skeletool’s flathead to scrape the scale from the bottom of the iron, working better now

Quite a haul, Dan.

Day 12

A couple minor uses today, trimming a thread, opening a bag, etc, but I didn't grab any pics. Instead, here's the TL-29 hanging out with this week's real multitool MVP, the CRKT Eat'n Tool XL. Preview of the spork thread I'll be posting at the end of the month: If you need ONE utensil for everything (except a knife, but you've got your pocket knife, right?) you can't beat it. I threw it in my bag figuring I'd use it once or twice for the sake of testing, but it's become my go to.

Hi, all!

I will be dealing next hand in a little less than 24 hours, and we will start carrying new tool(s) on Day 15 accordingly.  Best of luck to everyone!

Day 13

Needed to repair a distribution cable.
It has a switch which was damaged/stuck because our 2yo played with it (in fact he stood on it....  :dunno:.

There were 8 screws on the back, 4 of them were regular philips screws, the others were saftety/oneway screws like this https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/uvcAAOSwwBtcudWa/$_57.JPG?set_id=8800005007

No chance for the Tinker, had to switch to my cybertool and use the flathead bit.
Pressing hard and turning gently I removed them.
The switch was just stuck.

I replaced the screws with regular philips screws and now its good to go again.
