PST - Tuesday

Look what I found in my suitcase yesterday while looking for  another item.

I oilled the pivots to allow to marinate while I was on vacation, it had just arrived used, and sticky.
I carried upstairs to put on desk, but must have added to travel bag with other stuff that were also going upstairs for travel.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

The handle splay was thankfully addressed with most all the newer models but I think aome of the tools of the older ones were superior. The awl for sure :salute:

:iagree:  appears the plier head is designed different causing the handles to have the spread.

PS:  another PST will be in route😜. Made a  low offer on a model without a Sheath and woke to an acceptance email.
I am out of control, now more PSTs than Rebars🙄

PST TUESDAY

Reflecting a bit, I  realized that a great deal of thought had been spent in designing the single Phillips head driver of the PST.
The four shown are awl intact, fit every same screw head I have tried and not one have failed me or even showed signs of wear.

Amazing👍

Can not say the same for my dedicated Phillip head drivers, even the hard steel designs have failed. Maybe the the most replaced tool in my tool kit the past 50 years in the service industry, small to large🙄. Of course I did occasionally use a smaller size on a larger head, and may have caused more than one fault with my large hands😜

:iagree: I've had to replace 99% of my dedicated Philips heads over the years.  They just don't hold up like mt Philips heads do!

Funny isn’t it?    A  simple, single tool just seems to attract more simple tools…

For some reason, seeing a few PSTIIs in another thread has caused a curious spark of interest.  🙄
