I just looked to see what they are selling for.....I was shocked. :ahhh

I don't know when they were discontinued.

I bought mine when they first came out...if I remember right, I did not pay over $20.00 for it. I'm guessing that I got it around 1998. :cheers:

Day 18

I had purchased a Gerber MP400 that had a broken blade.  I sent the photo of it to Gerber and they approved a replacement.
Not sure why folks don't bother themselves with turning the product in for warranty.  :dunno:
So the replacement is here!  Used the blade of the MP600 to open the package.  Looks a little dirty, but it is just oil residue.
Edit: Added a photo of the broken and new.  Seems they no longer have the hollow elongated nail nick in the new one.

Question,  did Gerber repair the broken MP400 blade, or did they send you a new replacement tool?
