Replace MP400 blade with saw blade?

Replace MP400 blade with saw blade?

I love my MP400 but I've never used the knife blade since I always have a better knife with me. One thing I could use however is a saw blade for cutting small branches/sticks. I've seen a few examples but where are people actually finding the saw blade to do the replacement with?

Gerber saws are hard to find, maybe saw from Gerber Armbar Trade or U-Shank holder from Gerber MP600/MP800.
You could try mod SOG saw to it.

Or Leatherman Rebar saw (it has same pivot size allready) but it also need bit modding.
Picture compares Gerber blade and Rebar Saw. Like you can picture see Rebar saw needs bit material remove to fit to Gerber also you need spacer since saw is thinner than blade and you need something to fill gap.
I might try mod Rebar saw to my MP600 tomorrow ( if i correctly remeber MP400 has samekind tools as MP600)

Thank you! Those SOG blades look like they'd probably work if I took a Dremel to the backside. At $11 it's worth a try anyway.

If I remember correctly, the saw blade from a Suspension will work without modifications (not my photos, but right here @ MT.o.

Hmm might need to find extra cheap suspension what i can dissamble and scavenge parts from it.
