Seven years ago, I bought that same one from Amazon for $70.23.  Inflation is a bugger.   But that current price on Amazon is good, considering that they are going for $132 - $148 elsewhere.

I think I paid $65 for my XC from either BladeHQ or KnifeCenter when that model was discontinued. Glad I did, as you can't even find used ones for that nowadays.

  I found a place called Swiss Knife Sale that claims to have a Victorinox SwissTool
[link removed]
  Had bought a used version on Ebay a while back that showed everything save one part.... they chomped down on some hard wire or something and really damaged the wire cutters. Will have to send it in to Victorinox USA later in the year. I really like the square serrated blade a lot.

Have you bought from them before? They list an address in Vegas. I always wonder if the price is so good that ther must be a catch. Maybe it is a reputable dealer, though.

Redit has some reviews that indicate a scam. Address does not even exist. Buyer beware in this case, I think.

Yep...I had to exchange mine because of loose implements. Replacement arrives tomorrow...of course I am out of town on business through next Friday and leave tomorrow...so will have to wait and see if the new one is spot on.
