A math teacher in high school attempted to explain this way back when. Understood enough to know that year 2000 did have a leap day!  Just could not explain it simply and was not interested enough to look up. 🥺

Sure has been fun.  I do like the LEAP a bit more than I thought I would.

Tomorrow's optional mini-challenge is to post your LEAP and tell a story about receiving something free, (not something from me).
