I didn't see anything dedicated specifically to the Powerlock so I thought it was time! Right now, it remains my only SOG multitool. I use mine a lot!

Been a busy day! Working on a drain line for our dehumidifier. The blade is sharp!

I've found all of my SOG blades exceptionally sharp. I think it's some kind of Voodoo magic. The PowerLock is your only SOG!!? I sent you one of those weird belt buckle folding pliers back in 2019. You should still have it unless you rehomed it.

You're correct on all counts Alan
I just had it out yesterday after looking for something else. It's a very unique tool for sure!

A few years ago I was at a yard sale that included a junk box with odds and ends perhaps from some rescue or law enforcement person - a couple of waterproof flashlights, some LED conversions for Maglites, etc., and at the bottom a SOG Power Lock with broken pliers. 5 bucks, so of course I bought it and converted a couple of big old Maglites to LED, etc. Then I mailed SOG, asking if they could sell me the pliers. They responded that I could send it in for warranty service, and I replied that I couldn't do this in good conscience, since I bought the pliers broken, etc. but I would happily buy them and put them on myself. I did not hear back from them right away, figured "oh well," until a little package came in the mail, containing the pliers, and an invoice for no dollars. So anyway, I have a nice Power Lock B60 now. It was nearly mint, and rides in my car's door pocket along with a high quality miniature LED flashlight and a nylon pouch to fit both, courtesy of the junk box.
No pix yet, but I thought I'd mention this story because you don't get much better service than that.

A little follow up. Here's the SOG that rides in my car's door pocket, along with the nifty little Inova flashlight and Nite-Ize pouch that fits them both. All partial contents of the $5 tag sale box of goodies. That flashlight is an Inova X2, I think, and very nicely made.

Red to add a pic. Just picked up a power lock for 40 quid, seems a great solid tool the only thing is the little handle covers are missing.

You can get them from SOG, Chippy. That happens fairly frequently. Welcome to the club!
