Badge Request Jack-O-Lantern
on: October 30, 2024, 11:10:04 PM
Mini-Jack carved with two SAKs.   I used the big boy to carve into the top, and the Spartan for the face.

We've not big on Halloween decorations, but my wife saw this guy on the sale table at the grocery store.

I do one for each of my kids every year.

This is my tool of choice for pumpkin carving (along with a large, solid stainless steel serving spoon for scraping the guts out):

Looking great awl. Congrats on the badge Fireman!

I’ve been successful carving using my Wave, Spirit butter blade, and Swisschamp/Outdoorsman.  Some folks use the saw, but I never need it. The serrated blades and fish scaler work great.  Can’t find any of the pics. Fish scaler is also great non sharp implement for the kids.

I've always loved Halloween, but I'm especially loving it this year as it's our daughter's first. She'll be 11 months on 11/4. She had a blast watching and "helping" my wife and brother and I carve. I used my Buck 112 folder and Leatherman Wave and my wife my CRKT Scribe and the Buck.
