Bienvenue mon Ami!!  Remember, Tomorrow never dies so you're just in time  :D
You should count me in for a number of good reasons :
1. I just got a shiny new Bond and need to carry it to see if it can beat my PST 2.1. "You only live twice", right ?
2. That Bond was given to me by one of you ("from France, with love", friend) and I promised to carry it and give him a review. This challenge would be the best way to show my appreciation.
3. 11 is a good number, but a dozen makes it perfect, almost biblical.
4. It's still 2024, so I'm not late per se.
5. I'm trying to get my "Licence to skill", so I have a lot of work around the house to finish. The Bond will make them fun. :)

So please let me in ? Please Dr, do not say No !

Just can't wait so I have to post a Day 0 entry.  I have my brand new Bond ready to go, a little stiff, but it should loosen up with use.

Guess who failed to order hisself a Bond? Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to bow out of this one. There is very little realistic hope of Bond acquisition without having to make up a few days. As was demonstrated in this month's utility knife challenge, I'm bad enough about having to make up days when I have the tool in hand. However, I will follow along, and maybe I'll show a Bond photo as things progress.

It snuck up fairly quietly on me too.

Day 0: A New Year's tradition here, Classic Volkswagen Monopoly, with the Bond quietly awaiting some fun!

DAY 1

Here is my Bond.

I had a piece of a leather belt, so I decided to see how the awl works for making belt holes.

It worked very nicely! ;)

Is it just the lighting, or did you darken the engraved letterings on your Bond ? I've heard some did that with a marker.
In any case, looks real nice.

That actually might be my favorite thing about the square Phillips :D

I carry that bit card in my work sheath and have so for almost as long as the Supertool 300 has been out :o it has really helped me over the years and I can never understand why LM doesn't advertise these gems more :salute: :like:
