Trying Something....
on: January 02, 2025, 12:11:42 PM
For this month I'm going to try this combo and see how it works; 1AAA flashlight, STL 2.0, and my Dime. It seems to cover all the bases. I'll report in occasionally :tu:

I'm venturing a guess that that combo would serve a great many people quite well (myself not among them, though). Looking forward to your initial report!

I'm a week in and starting to rethink. Each of these tools are great, but this bundle is a bit bulky and heavy. I occasionally chauffer on the weekends and carried this on Saturday - does not carry well in a suit! Too heavy and too many angles. I've used everything on the bundle during the last week, but not as much as I anticipated. The story continues...

I've had great luck with just the Dime Charlie.  That blade can get decently sharp.  Flashlight is almost indispensable though.

:iagree: Maybe swap the flashlight for an Olight I1R2-EOS or similar? Those little boogers take up next to no space, but are very bright.

I ended my experiment. Each of the items carried was great - hooking them all together was not! Too bulky and too many angles. It was just plain uncomfortable to carry day in and day out this way. I'm still carrying all of them, but in separate locations :-[
