DAY 21  I haven't been happy with some of my photos, so I set this one up.  I have these notebooks stashed in strategic locations (nightstand, desk, truck, backpack).

Great photo, Fireman! :like: :2tu:

Look what the Amazon fairy brought. I kind of doubt I’ll keep it, every time I try a cellidor model it makes me realize why I like alox, but we’ll see.

Congratulations on the Explorer, gustophersmob ! :woohoo:

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what kind of plastic the magnifier housing is made of? I’m mainly wondering if it melts with deet or other mild solvents like the cellidor scales do.

Gustophersmob, I think (and take it as a "grain of sand") the clear, newer ones are acrylic and the gray ones ABS.
Do keep the Explorer! Allow it to have its patina, and cherish every nick, scrape, divot, etc. as "badges of honor", "battle scars", or "adventure reminders" (and also to protect the Aloxes pristine state!)  : :D

Day 21

Champion's out today, helping in the restoring of the BSA scale, opening lunch (which, I found later, had a built in opening-recloseable feature ...  ), and plain "hangin' around".

Thanks!

And don’t worry, if I keep the Explorer, it will get used. I’m a “no shelf queens” kind of guy.

Used the pliers on the Cybertool Lite to remove some concrete from a repair before damp proofing. Worked great!

Great posts everyone. For all of it's small size the mag is a pretty good little tool and getting a pic of things is a challenge all it's own I know so well done

I'm not in the challenge but as a guest I'll share one I took a few years back (which is why I appreciate the effort!)
