Wenger Soldat on eBay

Thought this was interesting. A 1963 wenger soldat, but it’s not the model ‘61, it’s the previous model ‘51 style.

I have a vague recollection reading wenger produced it longer, but I thought that went to 1962. Apparently it at least went to 1963.

No affiliation with the seller, just thought it was cool.

I am not an expert in the Model 1951's, but I do recall reading in one of my books that it went through 1964, so overlapping the Model 1961 by three model years (62, 63, 64).

I've always thought it was cool too. In my own collection I stopped at '61, but I've thought it would be cool to have them through '64. Thanks for posting this one!

I looked at that on eBay but with a vacation next week it's not in the budget. I just purchased a 62 red Alox Soldier that's in the post, and thought it would look cool on a shelf next to that 61. The one year juxtaposition would be a fun way to highlight the differences.
