First impressions, the R10 is a lot easier to hold due to the deeper grip. I am not used to shooting anywhere near 15 fps, and found I had to dial it down a lot to be able to chirp 2  photos with 1 press of the shutter button.

Looks good! What is the rough weight of that kit?

The sharp highlights have a bit of peculiar snowflake shape in a water picture? Must be some funky optics in that lens! (Character I think they call it).

1689 grams in total. Very light.

Are you talking about the dog photo? he was pushing a lot of water with a bit of splashing. That water wasn't clean with a lot of surface stuff floating on it.

I think overall, fairly happy with my pair of R mirrorless cameras. I did notice that the R10 did focus on the eyes of animals. The R100 did a good job tracking moving objects, but I can tell the advancements in the R10's autofocus...which is amazing considering I was blown away by the R100 even compared to the Canon 80D with it's 45 cross type autofocus points.

Here is another shot of the dog, I was a good distance away from him as the owner was tossing things in the river for the dog to chase. Looks like even with my great distance, I didn't escape detection.

I was actually thinking of the water highlights of 1319A - quite unusual shapes. And a bit perplexing as the backgrounds seems pleasingly blurred and non-busy.

Good eye. I did not even notice that. Agreed, could be a peculiarity of the lens.

I think they call it character. Though given how rare it seems it is probably just highlights with a tiny blender. Maybe try some cityscapes at night? Could be interesting.
