A day late, but some more SOG goodness here. Switchplier from a number of years ago, and a Crossgrip and two Crosscut keychain-sized tools. Crossgrip and Crosscut tools are approximately the same size as the Leatherman Micra tool for those not familiar with these tools.

Thanks, gents! :hatsoff: And the Crossgrip looks like it could be particularly handy. I'll add that one to my "must-try list."

Happy SOG Sunday awl!

After Sven 34 posted his modded PowerLock last week, it motivated me to get mine out and do a little work on it. Around the time I did the mod for the Power  Grab / Power Acess plier jaws, I also added a modded file from a ST300. I never really liked how it turned out since the file would rock back and forth while using it. So, I remedied it by swapping in an older PowerLock file from a version 1 PowerLock. Somehow, this file was installed in a P3 I picked up a few months ago. So Friday afternoon ended up being a three way file swap. P3 parts donor file to P3 for the PowerLock file. Then PowerLock file for the modded ST300 file.

Happy SOG Sunday to JonesE and awl SOG fans!

Since the topic of pliers' helical chirality was recently brought up, I thought I'd see if it made any difference.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

I sure didn't see any, but I suspect that's because the paracord wasn't cinched so tight this time around.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

What did I do with the paracord? Well...I'm gonna make y'awl wait another eight days (at least) to see.

Today the other Colorama No.4 that I carry lost its keyring and chain.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The PowerLock was used to remove the length of chain (obviously) and cut the new lanyard to length. The lanyard is an internal strand from MILSPEC paracord. It'll do until I can get hold of some tan micro or nano cord.

Not carrying this one today since I an finishing the PST challenge today, but boy did I want to. Here is the latest rebrand SOG P3 that I picked up a while back. It is a Master Mechanic TRU88 that was sold though many True Value hardware stores back in the day.

It would probably do that to me, too. What is the object in the top of the package?

:like: It's much warmer in my apartment than it is outside. Would you like to trade rain for a chance of snow?

Would you like to trade rain for a chance of snow?

We have had what feels like a week of constant rain. I guess they are calling it an atmospheric river. This afternoon it finally stopped and according to the forecast it is supposed to rain again starting at 11:00pm and I don’t see a break a break in the rain for the next week. Look for more flooding in Puget Sound.

Snow is great. I would just like it to stay above 1500 feet.
