Place your bets.
« on: December 27, 2011, 01:12:43 AM »
Well after finding a new love for Sydercos (especially FFG blades) and ordering a Endura 4 I dug up my Tenatiouse.  :tu: Dang I love this knife. Can't wait to get the Endura.

Anyone taking bets on how many days it takes me to cut myself with it.  :D

if the over excitement for a new knife get to you like it does to me, then i give it 20 mins. if not then 2 days.

when you cut yourself, and you WILL cut yourself (because we all do) i can only hope its not to bad.

i had a bad one a while back where i sliped with my new skeletool and completely let go of it, it droped right into my arm  i had to glu it shut because it was rather deep. ive still got a scar from it now. after that im very careful. but the way it happened i couldn't make it happen again if i tryed. it was crazy. lol

My new Sage 1 got me about 2 hours after getting it home  >:(. I had to use crazy glue to keep it closed.

Santa brought me a lanskey sharpening system which I had to try this afternoon. When I was finished I wiped away the oil from the blade with a piece of paper towel which it immediately sliced through to get to my thumb for an unscheduled epidermis durability test. It managed to sever a paper thin section of my thumb print away with minimal plasma loss. Needless to say I'm now a fan of said sharpening system. Anyways Cap I'll place my bet for within 24hrs. People would gift bandages with our sharps if they REALLY knew us well.

Not in the first hour and probably not in the second. I'm picking in the two to three hour window. ;)

I say it doesn't happen. I very rarely cut myself. And by rarely I mean only when I drop a Bali and that only happened once. Just be careful. :drink:
