So here's the thing. Today I received a PE Spyderco Dodo, it's used and has a huge
chip out of the edge that is actually half as wide as the bevel grind.
Now, I've got another PE Dodo that I've sharpened with my Lansky but it was a pain and never really came out the way I wanted. That and I've never had to sharpen out a huge chip like this. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to handle this. I've got a Lansky set-up with fine/medium diamond hones and a Sharpmaker. Is there anything I'm missing that might make it easier?
I'd prefer not to send it back, it's rare enough that loss in the mail would be a big problem for me.
