I find it interesting that they used wick and flint with the dominance of butant powered lighters.

Crikey... very pretty but not for that money. I just got a perfectly good peanut light from DX which was about $2. I used to collect lighters (and smoke), and I do like a well made one, zippo or ronson etc but some of my faves are really cheap in comparison.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad you've liked all of them but I'm extra pleased the Wilson went down well, just because it was such a pain to bring back to life. Have to see what this year's car boot season turns up. Don't think they'll be any Wengers though

I like them both, but given the issues surrounding the lighter series from Vic in the past (SwissFlame, Campflame, XXLT) I am not surprised that Wenger chose to go with the wick. While it may not be glamorous or cutting edge technology, it is reliable, and Zippos will almost always light, no matter what the conditions.
