How do you set up a paypal account?

Go to www.Paypal.com and follow the directions. It will ask you for some bank account and Credit Card information, but neither is completely necessary, just makes the process easier and allows you more functionality.

Make sure you don't mind paypal taking money from you! There is now an option when you are paid for the sender to choose to pay the fees - some sellers are asking for this to avoid the fees (currently about 3.4% I think). YOu are also charged when you take payment out of your paypal account in to your bank if it's under a certain amount. Bare in mind they are getting interest on your money if you leave it there.... they have many ways to cream off the top

Other than that, it seems to be a good system.
