That's kinda cool.

Too bad they didn't make it so you could buy a refill when your 1000 strikes are up.

When I saw they thread title I thought to myself "that would be a lighter" :D

:) regarding the BIc, but these steels do have their uses in wet and windy conditions etc!

The Sparkie looks cool, I may try one out soon! The Blastmatch is the best firestarter I have come across. It's the best out of all my firestarters...I own quite a few! :D :D

Yes, I think you probably do, or a cheap knife to attack a regular steel with  ;)

I use the spark-lite...much smaller, but accomplishes the same task.
