Not as good as "how it's made" series, but pretty neat regardless.

An Opinel is sold every 10 seconds according to the text at the end.

I really enjoyed that

, a lot more automation than I expected goes into making a Opie but it makes sense that have a high degree of automation to remain competitive. So Opinel is a modern progressive company there is no reason they can not make more non wooden handled knives

I know we might like to see more modern designs from Opinel, but I'm not sure that makes much sense to them. After-all, it's not like they don't have a huge amount of the knife market already.

i still carry a opie (or 3 lo ) daily as the weight cant be beat plus got great character to them,

Opinel's are charming timeless tools, great feel to them, binding wood and metal like magic to make something quite special

Thanks for the video, I loved the look of that one at 0:47.

BTW, did anyone else notice the new Opinel with corkscrew? Price: $32.95 Seems they are pricing all of the newer designs quite a bit higher than their standards.
