I was thinking about this the other night, but didn't really get very far.

The only way I could do something like that would be to use components from other multis, and just about every sensible combination of components is already available off the shelf.

A PST type should be easy to make.

I have many sketches, and ya its time I have little time spend on it but once I get the sketched into desighns I will actually start, its hard putting dimensions to sketches, ha
I guess modding one would be a better start, its mostly my drivers i want in a tool.

This had be wondering the same thing.  If you throw out the notion that a multitool had to be of a butterfly design (which is my major preconceived notion, despite carrying a SAK), what could you take from (say) Wal-Mart and put in your own MT.  Do multiple small tools (screw driver, tape measure, light, etc.) connected on a keychain constitute a multitool?

No I haven't tried. I have completely dissasembled about 10 Charge's and put them back together though! After the first time, it's easy!
